Peniaga Myanmar tunjuk belang
SELAYANG: Walaupun baru diserbu lima hari lalu, peniaga haram warga Myanmar
sengaja melanggar barang jualan mereka.
terbabit menyebabkan ia terbalik.
'Saya tidak sengaja, namun lelaki Myanmar berusia 30-an itu mengetuk
cermin tingkap saya sambil menunjukkan pisau.
menyebabkan jalan raya sesak,' katanya.
walaupun cermin keretanya diketuk.
Imigresen.
'Namun, saya pelik bagaimana bilangan mereka langsung tidak menunjukkan
tanda berkurangan, malah semakin berani berniaga secara terbuka,'
katanya.
Bakri berkata, kehadiran pendatang asing itu turut mengakibatkan
kesesakan lalu lintas kerana mereka menghalang kenderaan keluar masuk
biasanya mula menjalankan perniagaan selepas pasar ditutup,' katanya.
sehingga sanggup meninggalkan barang jualan mereka.
Warmest regards,
Candy

" Bangau Oh Bangau"
and all i can say was," oh..um...ok..sorry bang, sorry.." and nervously butting out the cigarette in the bin. He just smiled and went back to the office or the control centre ( i think) and 45 minutes after that, that famous bilingual announcement was in the air again: ( which is not really exactly sounds like below)
Terima Kasih"
(Good Morning ladies and gentlemen. Train to Pelabuhan Klang will be arriving shortly. Please take care of your belongings and becareful of pickpockets. We also ask for your cooperation for not smoking in the station area and also inside the train.Thank you.)
I am sure the last part of the announcement was meant for me because i rarely (never!) heard the no-smoking announce before this at the station. padan muka aku!!
"..They are soo quick and soo fast to caught me smoking but yet still soo slow in the service!!!" i yelled, but in my head only la..
Anyway , that's not the real issue. I just want to have the excuse for myself smoking in public and point the blame to KTM. If the train can arrive early, i wont smoke at the station. Just like Malaysian politician will do and just like the old malay folk songs " Bangau Oh Bangau" where everyone blame others for own failures.
The real issue here is , how i couldn't see that big 'NO SMOKING' Signboard on the wall as a real warning for not-to-smoke in that station? or maybe i was soo adapted to Malaysian's culture of 'tak kisah' (dont care) even we can see a big signboard said 'No Smoking' or 'No Litter'??
That Bloody Malaysian!!!

The Malaysian Chronicles
So.., i found the definitions of Malaysian on the Web:
but politically, the criteria to be a Malaysian citizen are :-

- every person who immediately before Merdeka Day, was a citizen of Malaysia by virtue of any of the provisions of the Federation of Malaya Agreement, 1948, whether by operation of law or otherwise
- every person born within Malaysia on or after Merdeka Day and before October, 1962
- "any person born within Malaysia but whose parents are foreign can acquire citizenship after a period of 6 years"
- every person born within Malaysia after September 1962, of whose parents one at least was at the time of the birth either a citizen or permanently resident in Malaysia, or who was not born a citizen of any other country
- every person born outside Malaysia on or after Merdeka Day whose father was a citizen at the time of his birth and either was born in Malaysia or was at the time of the birth in service under the Government of Malaysia or of a State
- every person born outside Malaysia on or after Merdeka Day whose father was a citizen at the time of the birth if the birth was, or is, within 1 year of its occurrence or within such longer period as in any particular case was or is allowed by the Malaysian Government, registered at a consulate of Malaysia or, if it occurred in Singapore, Sarawak, Brunei or North Borneo, registered with the Federal Government
- every person born on or after Malaysia Day, and having any of the qualifications specified below
- every person born within Malaysia of whose parents one at least is at the time of the birth either a citizen or permanently resident in Malaysia and

- every person born outside Malaysia whose father is at the time of the birth a citizen and whose birth is, within 1 year of its occurrence or within such longer period as the Malaysian Government may in any particular case allow, registered at a consulate of Malaysia or, if it occurs in Brunei or in a territory prescribed for this purpose by order of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, registered with the Malaysian Government and
- every person born in Singapore of whose parents one at least is at the time of the birth a citizen and who is not born citizen otherwise than by virtue of this paragraph and
- every person born within Malaysia who is not born a citizen of any country otherwise than by virtue of this paragraph
- and bla bla bla bla bla bla..the
If you are so rajin ( hardworking?) to read all that , you can get the whole thing here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysian_citizenship
I got the info from wikipedia. From the NET..( can you believe that?)
My own definitions of Malaysian are :-
"..an inhabitant of a country called Malaysia ,whose life and routine are dictated by FOOD.."
Anyway, this blog is about us, The Malaysian ,and it'll talk about some 'famous attitudes' of Malaysian .Im not a perfect Malaysian either and i have tonnes or perhaps dozens of 'really bad' and 'not-so-nice' attitudes myself. Anyway, maybe it's not suitable for all coz i assumed that not all of us have sense of humour .
For me , it's time to laugh at ourselves. To see that our own silliness is the best real life comedy.
But for some , it'll going to be nasty.
